The year 1810

In 1810 Madame de Staël's De l'Allemagne was published, which might have occasioned comments on women's authorship, comparisons to other female writers, etc.

In the Netherlands during this year the publishing of the women's periodical [[Elegantia]] (1807-1814) went on.
