Publicity

______________________________________________________________________
Up to now advertisements have not yet been actively sought for. They have been included in the database WomenWriters only when considered exceptional in one way or another: figuring, for example, in journals which did not contain much publicity [1]

During the second half of the 19th century, advertisements are starting to become numerous in the periodical press: in the "general" press as well as in journals addressing women. It will be interesting to have the advertisements compared to critical reviews both in general and in feminine or feminist periodicals.
