The Nederlandsche Bibliotheek (Dutch Library; 1774-1812) (cf. Ter Laan in DBNL had intentions similar to those of the Vaderlandsche Letteroefeningen, with which it was to fuse in 1812. "Key years" have been perused, with an outcome of 33 articles. The large proportion of Duct authors corresponds well to the title: 28 articles. 16 of them are about major novelist Betje Wolff, to whose ideas in religious matters the editors were opposing.
