A.L.G. Bosboom-Toussaint's correspondence
Dutch major novelist A.L.G. Bosboom-Toussaint (1812-1886) frequented the leading authors of her time. Letters have been preserved and used for a 2 vol. biography by H. Reeser, who earlier published a Repertorium of these letters. This is what has been consulted for the information now contained in the database.
The 70 records concern mainly compatriots and also her own works: 14 records refer to letters written to herself by friends.
In this list the connexion between Bosboom-Toussaint and the French novelist and historian Marie d'Agoult appears to be an interesting one, which should be studied.
