The Amerongen Castle book collection

The Catalogue des Livres qui sont à Amerongen is important for us to know more about books probably read by the young Belle de Zuylen. Her cousin Annebetje van Tuyll van Serooskerken lived at the castle of Amerongen, and Belle went there often.

The catalogue is to be consulted in The Utrecht Archives. Complete consultation has not yet been realized. Yet some questions have been answered: rapid perusal learnt, for example, that novels by Marie-Jeanne Riccoboni were in this collection.
