Female and male authorship in the romance countries
Two members of NEWW will participate in this conference:
- Henriette Partzsch:
xx
- Suzan van Dijk:
Authorship strategies in women's correspondences (18th and 19th centuries), in particular those of Isabelle de Charrière and George Sand.
For those two women the relationships with other women (in particular: authors) will be analyzed in comparison to those with men (in partcular: authors). These relationships are considered as part of a strategic project, or at least as contributing to define their authorship.
