Fourth COST-WWIH Training School 14 - 19 May 2012
Objectives of this Training School:
- trainees able to create records in the WomenWriters database so that they will be useful for handling their own research questions, and those of other project participants,
- trainees can use and interrogate the database for their own research needs,
- trainees aware of the different source materials we are handling in order to find information about the reception of “our” women authors by their contemporaries or by other readers before c. 1914,
- trainees can formulate their needs for features to be added to the database or to the Virtual Research Environment which will be developed.
During this 4th Training School focus will in particular be on the different (large-scale) sources for information about the reception of women’s writings (in some cases also: information about the works themselves). Criteria for selecting and handling of sources also under discussion.
