Belle de Zuylen Papers



The Cahiers ISABELLE DE CHARRIERE / BELLE DE ZUYLEN Papers are published by the “Genootschap Belle van Zuylen” (the Dutch Isabelle de Charrière Association) in collaboration with NEWW. This bilingual (French and English) publication is the successor to the Lettre de Zuylen et du Pontet, of which thirty numbers have been published between 1976 and 2005. Like the Lettre, the Cahiers are published once a year, in Autumn (ISSN 1872-7832).


Seven - thematic - issues have appeared:

2008:
BELLE DE ZUYLEN FACING MEN: CORRESPONDENTS, LOVERS OR FICTITIOUS FIGURES

2010:
BELLE DE ZUYLEN AND THE NETHERLANDS
has been presented 2 December 2010 at Huygens Institute, The Hague.

2011:
BELLE DE ZUYLEN, MUSIC AND ARTS
presented 24 November 2011 at the Letterkundig Museum, The Hague.

2012:
READING CHARRIERE IN THE LIGHT OF ROUSSEAU AND VICE VERSA
presented 20 December 2012, Huygens ING The Hague.


The issue 2013:
NETWORKS SURROUNDING ISABELLE DE CHARRIÈRE
will be presented, exceptionally, in January. This will take place at the Swiss Embassy in The Hague, 30 January 2014.

For the 2014 Cahier:
ISABELLE DE CHARRIERE, POLITICAL WRITER
submission is also possible.
