Jean Mainil: "«Ma Mere l'Oie», ou du détournement du topos de l'«écriture féminine»"
Abstract:
This contribution analyses topoi which inform women as social beings and as writers at the end of the seventeenth century. Through one fairy tale written by Marie-Catherine d'Aulnoy, one of the most prolific and beloved fairy-tale writers of her time, the author analyses the possibilities offered by these very topoi which female writers reappropriated through the stereotypically female fairy tale production in order to subvert them from within, while at the same time subverting that very same subversion.
