Moreover, Ana Maria Marovic has founded the religious order L`istituto delle Suore della Riparazione al Sacratissimo Cuore di Gesù e di Maria Immacolata. [[Image:Sb_ana_marija_marovic.jpg|right]][http://neww.huygens.knaw.nl/authors/show/3512 Ana Maria Marovic] (Anna Maria Marovich), the first poetess of Montenegrin origin, was born on 7th February 1815 in Venice (Italy). Her parents, Josip Marovic and Maria Ivanovic, were members of the colony of Boka Kotorska (Montenegro) in Venice. From her early childhood onwards Ana Maria Marovic expressed a notable talent for writing and painting. She wrote her first verses at the age of twenty under the pseudonym ’Filotea’. Apart from her literary ability, there is also evidence of her talents in the domain of painting. Unfortunately, only a few of her drawings have been saved.
