Vers la même époque des hebdomadaires tels que ''De Denker'' (Le Penseur) et ''De Philosooph'' (Le Philosophe) écrivaient également sur la noblesse, en néerlandais. Les portraits satiriques de la noblesse présentés dans ces journaux correspondent assez à ce qu’on lit dans ''Le Noble'': la noblesse symbolise l’opposé de la sincérité. Dans ces feuilles, la distinction morale entre mensonge et vérité se double de celle, sociale, entre la noblesse appauvrie et pleine de prétentions et la bourgeoisie travailleuse et simple. </span></td></tr>
